Bill has been with Hovac since 2005 and in industrial sales since 1980, selling process control instrumentation and industrial electric heating solutions prior to moving into high vacuum equipment. Having started over forty years ago, he has seen many changes in the sales process, and says he believes he has the mix right: ‘Today we are called on by a wider range of customers to help with applications, sourcing equipment and potentially supplying higher level assemblies. Customers may not have the same resources as in the past, and we effectively fill those voids. In the past four years, much of what we do is ensure product is available and arrives on time. Being readily accessible is key.’
Since 1992 Mike McKinley has been focused on electric heating solutions over a wide range of industries from pharma to wastewater and everything in between. Representing Watlow, Durex, and several other smaller manufacturers Mike has gained experience solving complex problems regarding customer’s equipment and process needs. These solutions included thermal sensing and control as well as responsibility for entire system installations.
